Cytauxzoonosis is a life-threatening infectious disease of domestic cats caused by infection with a protozoan parasite. Infected cats often present with depression, lethargy, anorexia, and fever. Additional findings may include icterus, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, and dyspnea.
