Anderson does tend to lean towards a little more of a modern vibe while Suhr tends to go for a little more vintage vibe, but I hate to generalize as they both build a great variety of different types of gutiars.

The irony of the first part of that statement is that without Tom Anderson, John Suhr would have possibly had less success with his first pre-Suhr custom guitars, as Tom Anderson was actually making the necks and bodies for him and Rudy's Music.

Okay, well i've heard a lot about both companies and a lot of people i've spoken with prefer tom anderson over suhr but I wanted to look at the full scale of how many people prefer suhr to tom anderson or vise versa. I spoke with a rep from tom anderson and he was one of the coolest salesmen ive ever spoken to.

In my opinion Andersons are just better guitars. Play better, sound better, super consitant. The most consitant builder I have come across. Anyways Ive had 3 angels and one pro-am.
