Aug 17, 2012 · – Tom Mazza. While in London earlier this week, I received word that my dear and close friend Tom Mazza had passed away back home in Philadelphia. Tommy's death wasn't unexpected. He had been diagnosed with ALS — more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease — in February. What was surprising was how quickly it took his life.
