On web, head to your dashboard settings or: Click on “Settings” (the gear icon) from the left side menu. Select “Dashboard” from the right side menu. Turn off “Best stuff first.”. Turning off “Best Stuff First” will also remove “Since you’ve been gone” posts from your “Following” tab.

Blog View. All Tumblr blogs can be viewed without leaving the dashboard using the blog view. To view a blog, click on an avatar and view it in the center of the screen. To return to the dashboard, click the X at the top of the screen.
