Waverly Films is a Brooklyn based group of filmmakers who met at NYU and are named after a nearby diner. The group is Duncan Skiles, Christopher Ford, Jeff Kaplan, Ben Dickinson, Jon Watts, Jake Schreier, and Aaron Wesner. They usually work with cinematographer Matthew J Santo.
She has written, produced, and directed many critically and commercially successful films. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Private Benjamin (1980). Jacob Stacey Schreier (born September 29, 1981) is an American commercial, music video and film director. He was a founding member of Waverly Films, a Brooklyn-based filmmaking collective, and joined Park Pictures in 2006, releasing his first feature film Robot & Frank in 2012.
