Update Monday 27 September 2021: Ofgem has appointed Octopus Energy to take on Avro Energy's customers and Shell Energy to take on Green's customers. If you're with Avro Energy or Green, your current tariff will end and you'll be moved onto Octopus or Shell's standard variable tariff.
Sep 22, 2021 · Customers will still continue to receive gas or electricity even if the energy supplier goes bust. Ofgem will move your account to a new supplier, but it may take a few weeks.
