Jun 22, 2011 · 20. The world data, which also includes player inventories, is saved to a folder in the current working directory of the server. The name of said folder depends on the level-name setting in server.properties, and defaults to world. Thus, you can start a new world and toggle between the saves by simply changing this setting.
That force saved map is just the map... it saves it to the map folder (server.properties > level-name). So by default it is (stop arguing with me, lol) in the world folder in the server folder :wink.gif: The only way it could be anywhere else is if you use a modded server with the ability to save elsewhere.
Put the .jar file in your 'plugins' folder in the root of your Bukkit server. The plugin will put out a dynamic map (live) on port 8123. Log into your Minecraft server and issue the command: /dynmap fullrender Navigate to localhost:8123 in your browser and voila, your map! With Overviewer: Download Overviewer and extract the file.
