Upon arriving at the park, we headed straight for the playground. It was completed in the fall of 2014 and it is beautiful. Also near the playground is a very large 3-acre fishing pond. While we were there, many families were fishing at the waters edge. The fishing is catch and release only. There is a small fence (as pictured above) between the playground and the pond.

With both paved and unpaved trails, this park is good in all weather, but it can get muddy on the unpaved trails.You can find a concrete padded hose station outside the gate to clean up muddy paws before you leave if needed.Be sure to bring plenty of water and your own pet bowl if the weather is hot.The park has latrine type bathrooms on-site, but note that there is no running water.In total the entire park is over 102 acres and includes all of the following: 1.
