Dec 10, 2021 · The Maine CDC is reporting 2,148 new coronavirus cases on Friday – a new record high. That surpasses the previous single-day record set on Thursday, of 1,460. Today’s report brings the seven-day case average to 963 - by far the highest since the pandemic began.
Nov 30, 2021 · The Maine CDC reported 259 new coronavirus cases and 4 deaths on Monday. Hospitalizations remain high, with 323 people hospitalized with COVID-19 as of Monday. Ninety-nine are in critical care and 43 are on ventilators.
Dec 21, 2021 · The Maine CDC is reporting 1,559 new cases of the coronavirus since the end of last week. That count includes data from Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The seven-day average of new cases is now 940. That's down from a week ago, when it briefly topped 1,000, but it's still among the highest rolling averages of the pandemic.
Sep 29, 2021 · The seven-day average of new infections is now 558. That's an eight-fold increase from two months ago. No additional deaths were reported on Wednesday. The current surge is mostly affecting Maine communities with lower vaccination rates.
