Select the list you want to edit from the drop-down menu. Click Edit. Click the More options icon | Delete list. Click OK to confirm you want the list deleted.
Mar 20, 2020 · No way to delete a top contact. But you can delete a contact, via Contacts icon (top right, with a number = current date day number): click on contact, click on three periods ... (more contact options); then Delete and OK confirmation. Need Sign out. For Suggested Searches is more simple. Just click the X in the right of Suggested Searches list.

After setting up your filters on Yahoo! Mail, you may find yourself wanting to make some changes to them or sometimes permanently removing them. Either something has changed in a particular group of e-mails you’re receiving or you don’t need the filter anymore. To learn how to edit or remove filters, scroll down to part 1.
fill in your Yahoo! username and password, and click on the purple “Sign In” button. You will be brought to your inbox after successfully logging in.
There’s a gear icon beside your name at the upper right of the screen. Click on it and then choose Settings. The Settings sub-window will appear.
On the Settings menu, click on “Filters” from the left panel. All your existing filters will be displayed on the right.

From the list of existing filters, select one you’d like to edit by clicking on it. The chosen filter will be highlighted.
Above the list of filters are three buttons. Click on the “Edit” button to enter the modification screen.
Change the name of the filter.
The first field is the Filter Name. You may edit the name of your existing filter in this field.
Set a unique filter name. Make it short but descriptive.
The first rule is for the Sender. Select the condition from the drop-down list with options of “Contains,” “Does not contain,” “Begins with,” and “Ends with.”
From the list of existing filters, select one you’d like to delete by clicking on it. The chosen filter will be highlighted.
Above the list of filters are three buttons. Click on the “Remove” button to delete the selected filter.
There will be no confirmation message. Once you click on the “Remove” button, your selected filter would be deleted right away. Be very sure before you do so, as you would need to recreate the whole filter once it has been deleted.
A lot of my mail goes to Trash automatically without obvious reasons. What can I do?
Depending upon the browser used, there are filters to send mail different places. You want to change that filter by logging in and following the menu options for preferences.

6 days ago · To delete all your emails at once on Yahoo, use the Clean Email app. Sign in, select the ‘All Mail’ folder from the options on the left, click 'Select...' under the search bar, then click ‘Select All’ and hit the ‘Trash’ button. This moves all your messages to the Trash folder.
do you have any instructions you can email me that would show me how to delete yahoo mail, re-install it & print out my contact list first?
May 24, 2024 · Click the three horizontal dots. Select the Delete list option. We recommend you update your contact groups regularly so they always contain only the intended recipients. The last thing you want is to send a group message to people the message is not actually intended for.
Feb 19, 2022 · You can locate this by going to Settings > General > About. Also, have you tried going to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Your Yahoo email > Contacts > and turning the Contact feature off? If not, go ahead and do so.
