I always think Badlands did it weekly with much less budget and time. Love to see a revisit of that world. The show is betrayal, backstab, betrayal, plot twist, backstab, betrayal, betrayal, betrayal, backstab, plot twist. It’s exhausting to follow, the writing sucks, and the choreography made laugh multiple times.

That was me trying (albeit poorly) to sum up the story of Into the Badlands without spoiling anything major. Put simply this series is amazing. The shifts in characterization are largely gradual and believable, while the characters themselves are somewhat trope-ish and stoic as is the case with Eastern influenced media.
