Better Call Saul is never going to be as popular or culturally relevant as Breaking Bad, but I think overall it’s a better show with a more satisfying ending. You can tell by watching it that the creators have improved their craft, and the performances by the actors are just as good if not better.

tl;dr Better Call Saul makes Breaking Bad even better and vice versa. Both series benefit each other, and if you're reasonably familiar with the events of Breaking Bad, I'd be surprised if you didn't thoroughly enjoy Better Call Saul.
You can see how much the show runners learned from BB and made a much more layered show, without the extensive use of ‘action’. Plus, Nacho is absolutely superb. Big Vas should really be cast more.
