I personally hated the script. I was about 50 pages in and started to realize it felt like Scooby-Doo meets Transformers. I totally wasn't into it. For the record I'm a big Power Rangers fan and I liked the first chunk. But it started to sour to me. Like milk instead of the usual Max Landis fine Wine if you will.

For those who don’t know, Power Rangers was written by John Gatins, but if you cast your mind back to 2014, you might remember that originally, Chronicle scribe Max Landis was hired to pen the reboot. Unfortunately, Lionsgate decided not to go with his script and we never really got a chance to see what the writer dreamed up.
