    (スプリガン,, Supurigan?) is a Japanese manga series written by Hiroshi Takashige and illustrated by Ryōji Minagawa. It was serialized in shōnen manga mangazines of Weekly Shōnen Sunday and Shōnen Sunday Zōkan from 1989 to 1996 that is published by Shogakukan. There is a total of eleven tankōbon volumes compiled in this manga.

    It later received the first official English translation in North America by VIZ Media who licensed it under the title of Striker. It was serialized in Manga Vizion, but only three volumes were published from them in the late 90's. The manga then got another English release with the entire eleven volumes fully translated by the publisher of Chuang Yi in Singapore. Seven Seas Entertainment eventually got the license and announced on February 25th, 2022 that the manga will be released in its entirely through an omnibus format in North America, with the first volume from them titled, SPRIGGAN: Deluxe Edition 1, releasing on August 2022 for the prices of $29.99 USA / $39.99 CAN through in print and on digital platforms.

    On April 18th, 2001, the first volume of the special edition for the Spriggan manga is released in Japan on a hardcover format. This format is extended to eight volumes. On June 15th, 2006, the manga would get another release exclusively in Japan in a bunkoban edition with the same volume count as the hardcover. The last eighth volume for this edition is released on January 13th, 2007.

    The Spriggan manga received an anime film adaptation on September 5th, 1998 with the same titular name. A video game adaptation, under the title of Spriggan: Lunar Verse for Sony's Playstation, developed by From Liquid Mirror Software and published by From Software was released in 1999. On March 2019, the Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday revealed the announcement of the Netflix adaptation of the manga that is being produced by David Productions and was premiered on the streaming service in June 18, 2022.
