Synopsis. During the outbreak of the rage virus in England, Don (Robert Carlyle) and his wife, Alice (Catherine McCormack) hide in a country house with four other people. Don and Alice are happy that their two children are on a school trip to Spain and thus away from the disaster.
When the other woman looks outside, she is startled by an infected, who breaks through the boarded up windows and vomits blood onto the woman’s face. Don beats the infected woman to death with a crowbar. Quickly, the other woman becomes infected and Don kills her as well.
Six months after the original epidemic, the rage virus has all but annihilated the population of the British Isles. Nevertheless the U.S. Army declares the danger past, and American soldiers ...
