Jan 2, 2019 · Here is a very brief, extremely brief, read-it-on-your-morning-commute brief selection of crime novels from or about the 1920s. I’ve divided them into two sections—the Masters, who wrote at the time and set the tone, and the Modern Masters, who’ve carried on their tradition.
