Amy Steel (born May 3, 1960) is an American film and television actress. She made her acting debut in the comedy film Fat Chance (1981) directed by Manuel Summers. She then gained recognition for her role as aspiring child psychologist Ginny in the Steve Miner-directed horror film Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981).

Her character on Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) (Ginny) was supposed to be killed by Jason, but the producers later decided during filming that they needed to have someone survive. Serves as a marriage and family therapist intern at InBalance in the Santa Monica Mountains.
