  7. Mar 5, 1991 · C.W. Cameron, founder of Oklahoma's largest insurance company, died Monday after suffering a heart attack. He was 87. Memorial services will be Wednesday for the chairman emeritus of American Fidelity Corporation. Cameron was a finance and insurance executive who founded North American Insurance in the 1930s. He chaired the company until 1989.
