Anthea Sylbert (born October 6, 1939 [1] [2]) is an American film producer and costume designer, who was active during the "modern era" of American film. She was nominated twice for Academy Awards for Best Costume Design, first at the 47th Academy Awards for Chinatown (1974), and then at the 50th Academy Awards for her work on Julia (1977).

SYNOPSIS. The feature documentary: “ANTHEA SYLBERT, MY LIFE IN 3 ACTS”, is dedicated to the legendary costume designer of ‘’Chinatown’’ and ”Rosemary’s Baby” who, while writing her memoir from her paradise, the Greek island of ”Mamma Mia” Skiathos, takes us into three decades of Hollywood history.
Romanus was married to Oscar-nominated costume designer Anthea Sylbert from August 1985 until his death. In 2004, they moved to the Greek island of Skiathos, after which he focused on writing. In 2011, he published his memoirs, Act III (Aiora Press, Athens, and Armida Publications, Nicosia), and first novel, Chrysalis (Armida Publications).
