An intimate concert and movie experience, the Aztec Shawnee Theater was recently reopened after an extensive 3 year renovation. Originally built in 1927 and closed to the public in 1974, the theater now presents live concerts from local bands and shows classic movies in it's 200+ seat auditorium.

Feb 9, 2021 · Tickets are $10 and extremely limited. 7 pm. Aztec Theater, 11119 Johnson Drive, Shawnee. It’s been forty-six years since the last reel spun to a stop at the old Aztec Theater on the main drag in Shawnee. You’d never know it from the enthusiasm around the recent reopening.
