  6. Calaveras Big Trees State Park has five Environmental Campsites located around the park. These campsites are primitive, tent-only sites, usually a 5 or 10 minute walk from a designated parking area. The five sites are known as Sugar, Lone Snag, Stanislaus, Beaver, and White Fur.
