In 1921, Blenko started another sheet glass company, this time in Milton, West Virginia because of low natural gas prices, a major concern for glass manufacturers of the time, which drew many prospective glassblowers to the area. His new company was initially named Eureka Glass Company, later changed the name to Blenko.

Dec 1, 2019 · The largest of the surviving glassmakers is the Blenko Glass Company, located in the tiny Mountain State town of Milton. Its skilled artisans still craft colorful handmade glassware in much the same way it’s been done for more than 100 years.
Aug 10, 2023 · The Blenko Glass Factory has a visitor center where you can visit the Blenko Glass Museum, shop, and watch how glass is made on the observation deck. The visitor center is free to enter and is open until 5 pm on most days.
