Bob Ducsay (born c. 1962) is an American film editor, screenwriter and producer. He is known for his work with Stephen Sommers, Rian Johnson and Brad Peyton. He has edited many of Sommers' films and has served as a producer on some. He aspired to be in the filmmaking industry during high school.

Jan 12, 2023 · He was drawn to photography, theater, and lighting, but once in the Graduate Film Program at USC, he found that editing appealed to his interests in technology and, more importantly, the craft of storytelling. But when Ducsay’s classmate, director Steve Sommers, got a low-budget film right out of USC and asked him to cut it, the die was cast.
Bob Ducsay is a director's editor. He began his career editing Stephen Sommers' 1989 comedy, Catch Me If You Can, before reteaming on blockbusters such as The Mummy (1999), Van Helsing (2004), and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009); the latter two, Ducsay also produced.
