Brian Michael Levant (born August 6, 1952) is an American television and film director, writer and producer. Levant was born in Highland Park, Illinois. He started his career in 1977 as a writer for the TV series "The Jeffersons".
After winning the 1989 Cable Ace Award as Best Director in a Comedy Series, for his long running “Still the Beaver” cable series, Levant turned his attention to writing and directing feature films.
