More recently, Bridget and partner John Maynard have established Felix Media, a production company working with artists on exceptional moving image projects for cinema and gallery presentation. Recent works include CORAL by Lynette Wallworth, and CITIZENS BAND, and THE CALLING by Angelica Mesiti.
Ikin jumped into producing via the deep end — producing 1985 anthology series About Face with her partner John Maynard. The collection of half-hour dramas provided a showcase for a new generation of filmmakers, including Alison Maclean, Gregor Nicholas, Peter Wells, and Stewart Main.
Bridget Ikin is now a role model herself, having produced a number of notable Australian and New Zealand films, including Jane Campion's An Angel at my Table (1990) and Sarah Watt's Look Both Ways (2005) and My Year Without Sex (2009).
