Feb 1, 2024 · Rasmussen and his passenger, Robert Merta, 18, of Ladysmith, began attempting to push their vehicle off the roadway. They were then struck by another westbound vehicle, a 2017 Ford Escape driven by Mark Western, 62, of Cameron. Rasmussen sustained fatal injuries due to the second crash.
