May 13, 2019 · Marmont Monday: Bungalow 3. My Chateau Marmont bucket list just got a little shorter. I was finally able to stay in one of the Bungalows perched along Monteel Road. I crashed a party there once back in 2001, but that’s another story for another time. Bungalow 3 is a Mid-Century Modern architectural dream. Check out this private back patio:

The Chateau Marmont is a hotel located at 8221 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The hotel was designed by architects Arnold A. Weitzman and William Douglas Lee and completed in 1929. [2] [a] It was modeled loosely after the Château d'Amboise, a royal retreat in France's Loire Valley.
Famed hotel Chateau Marmont is known for being a den of iniquity & general party place to the stars. The ghosts of some of these celebrities have reportedly never left; Bungalow 3, where John Belushi overdosed in the early 80s, is said to exhibit paranormal activity. But, this review is for something far less macabre -- brunch!
