Apr 9, 2024 · The entire school calendar is 215 days, including school days, teacher's workdays, annual leave days and holidays. There must be 185 instructional or student days or 1025 instructional hours, which may start no sooner than the Monday closest to August 26 and end no later than the Friday closest to June 11.

This calendar re˜ects the 2022-2023 academic calendar approved by the Board of Education on July 13, 2021. School makeup days will be used in the order listed. The superintendent may waive up to four makeup days. A regularly updated list of school closure and makeup days is available by clicking on the Calendars Quicklink at www.cms.k12.nc.us.
