Welcome to Continental Chess! We have organized chess tournaments from coast to coast since the 1960s, open to players of all ages, from beginners to Grandmasters. Most include sections in which less experienced players face only each other.

Online at chessaction.com, Adult $43, Young Adult $26, Youth $19. Adult and Young Adult (under 24 at expiration) include monthly Chess Life, Youth (under 19) includes choice of Chess Life or bimonthly Chess Life For Kids. USCF membership is required for all our tournaments.

CCA has held over 2300 chess tournaments in 28 states, DC, and the Bahamas, and has awarded over $24,000,000 in prize money without ever reneging on a guaranteed prize. For many years, more players have competed in CCA tournaments than those of any other chess organizer in the USA.
