Cold Springs Church was founded in 1946 as a part of American Baptist Churches USA. In 1998 Pastor David Cooke was called to the church as a young man with a vision to fuel the small, yet potential filled, congregation with leadership that would help transform the church into a thriving multi-generational community.
David is a Jewish believer who has pastored Restoration Fellowship (Glen Cove, NY) since the mid 1970’s. A prophetic teacher and worship leader, David has presented this message in conferences, training centers, and congregations in the United States, Israel, Canada, and Mexico.
At the age of twenty-one Pastor David Hawkins accepted the call of Pastor at Living The Word Church Fellowship. In 1998 he took over as Pastor with two members and a bankrupt church. Through his dedication and Kingdom Focus, he has seen God grow the ministry to worshipping with over 600 people per weekend.
Our Story. God called our Pastor, Dr. David C. Forbes, Jr., to begin Columbus Christian Center (CCC) in Columbus, Ohio on November 11, 1990. Those that connect to our church talk about God’s love and the vivacious energy of our Pastor and people. At CCC, God’s Word is taught and the truth is powerfully shared in love and boldness.
