Cops and Robbers Costume (For a Group) Time: 1 hour. Effort: Quick and easy no sewing required. Instructions: For each cop, cut out the word POLICE and a large star from the cloth, and iron them on the blue sweatshirt.

For the cops, we used navy blue shorts, light blue short sleeve button down shirts, and black socks.We accessorized using a “cop” package from the Dollar Tree.We used blue felt to create badges and name tags.For the orange criminal we used an orange shirt, orange shorts and iron on letters.For the striped criminal we used a plain white shirt and pants and created the stripes using black duct tape.For the judge, we used a plain black bed sheet from Walmart that we folded in half and then hot glued together on the sides to create sleeves. Sep 20, 2011 · One of the funniest DIY costumes I made was when we were cops and robbers. I got this idea because my daughter used to put all kinds of things on her head like a play butterfly net and tights. I thought she looked like a bank robber, thus our family costume!

Robber costume is made of a black shirt, skirt, leggings and boots from her closet. Spent $6 on cat mask and tail, and $2 on gloves. Bag is an old pillow case filled with packing peanuts with an $ painted on with fabric paint.
