When You Press The "My Buddy/Adventures" Button, There are 5 Starter Eggs with different color schemes. You can only pick one egg. You can't change your reading buddy with the starters
But you have to hatch them first by reading 20 minutes on any book (It could be any genre, anything random). As you completed that 20 minute task, they will start to hatch. You can hatch them by tapping their egg. There will be cracks showing while you do so.
They're eggs with spots that are the same color scheme as the character does as they hatch.
