Continuing his brawl in the Central Plaza, Eraser Head is confronted by Tomura Shigaraki. He figures Tomura is the League of Villains ' leader and manages to land an elbow strike. However, Tomura finds the weak point in Shota's erasures and manages to decay his elbow.
When Shota first meets Izuku, he had zero faith in Izuku's ability to be a hero and intended to ‘expel' him on the first day of school. Izuku was as equally put off by him until he realizes who Shota is and becomes the first of the class to identify him as Eraser Head.
