Home Admissions Year 9 (13+) Entry. A boy can be registered at any time up to 30 June in UK School Year 5 (the UK academic year in which he reaches the age of 10 years), for example: For 2025 entry a boy needs to be registered by 30 June 2022. For 2026 entry a boy needs to be registered by 30 June 2023.

ADMISSIONS INFORMATION 2019/20. 2 ENTRY TO ETON. Eton recruits a diverse intake of about 260 talented boys each year from a very wide range of schools worldwide. Boys admitted to College through the King’s Scholarship are known as King’s Scholars and all other boys are known as Oppidans.

The application deadline is usually in mid-September when a boy is in UK School Year 11. Please see the application form for each year’s specific dates. All applications received will be considered and we will then shortlist boys to be invited to Eton for an assessment in November or December.
