Jun 30, 2016 · Everything Sucks was quite possibly the most polished and well rounded Descendents record and while it got mixed reviews initially, the album stands as a solid release. From the second Everything Sucks begins to where it ends was nothing but pure energy. “Everything Sucks†kicks right off where the band left off.
Everything Sucks is the fifth studio album by American punk rock band Descendents, released on September 24, 1996, through Epitaph Records. It was their first album of new studio material since 1987's All , after which singer Milo Aukerman had left the band to pursue a career in biochemistry .

If anyone follows me one Instagram (@colinsprw) you will know that recently I got the Descendents album Everything Sucks on vinyl. Looking at the fantastic artwork for the album I realised that Everything Sucks is twenty years old this year. That makes me feel so old!
Jul 22, 2001 · The Descendents are the grandfathers of pop-punk. They were the first band to write songs about girls, and how life sucks. And boy, did they do it well. “Everything Sucks” is an absolute classic. I really cannot use enough superlatives to describe how good this CD really is.
Similar to the Descendents records that came before it, this really is the soundtrack to not having a date to prom. Everything may very well suck, but this album is essential melodic punk listening.
