Necro, it's a little more complicated and depends on your team. Assuming you're running Adrian, Colleen, Backup healer+defense break, 2 DD's (Fuco, Rigel, Shihwa, Ran, Hwa, w.e.), the backup healer+defense break is normally a choice between Belladeon and XF to start. XF has the multihit and brings more damage, Bella isn't fire element.

I had started late into the 8th year anniversary event, even later to join an active lab guild, so things didn't go as smoothly as for me.
