Freddie Perren. 1943-2004. Musician, music producer. Composer, arranger, and keyboardist Freddie Perren began producing records at the tail end of soul's funky domain and led the way to the glittering, wildly popular disco trend.
Fekaris was the producer and co-writer, with Freddie Perren, of the 1978 song "I Will Survive", and other songs recorded by Gloria Gaynor. Nominated five times for the Grammy Award , he won once in 1979 for "I Will Survive".
