Oct 1, 2020 · Since March, more than 600 computers have been distributed, thanks to 35 trained volunteers who show up Tuesdays to accept donated computers, strip them of all data, test and upgrade them with Windows 10, Office Suite and anti-virus software and recirculate them.
After refurbishment, the computers are supplied at no cost to schools, non-profit organizations, and individuals in an effort to support educational based programs. Since 2005 Computers Advancing Education, Inc. has supplied over 12,000+ free computers to schools and students all over the United States.
