I’m not sure if this has already been discussed but I just wanted to point this out because there’s no minimum and shipping to Canada is actually free and not discounted. I tested it out putting an order through and there was no charge for shipping :)

Head over to the beauty department in your local department store or drugstore and ask if they are providing any free beauty samples. Many stores have tons of makeup, skincare, and perfume and cologne samples put aside that they will offer when asked. Many of these stores also offer free makeovers when you purchase over a certain amount of products.

Another thing that often works is writing to beauty companies. If you tell a company that they’re your favourite brand and mention your favourite products, they will sometimes send you free products as a thank you and reward for your loyalty.
