Sep 5, 2018 · I recently picked up a Fuller and Johnson 3hp hit or miss engine, when I got it the cylinder was pitted and needed a lite hone but the piston and rings were in good condition. I put the piston back in and read up on battery operated low tension coils, I bought a coil and connected it to the ignitor in the correct manner and checked for spark.

This Fuller & Johnson 4 HP hit and miss #11134 was shipped. April 7, 1913 to Mr. G.S. Grable of Henry, Tennessee. Mr. Willie. Charles, also from Henry, acquired the engine and ran a grist mill. and sawmill for a number of years. Fuller & Johnson made the ‘people’s priced’. engine only from May 8, 1912 to June 20, 1913.
