    HIT Entertainment Limited (commonly known as HIT and stylized as HiT entertainment) was a British-American entertainment company and a label of Mattel Television. The company was founded in 1982 as Henson International Television, the international distribution arm of The Jim Henson Company, but later sold to Peter Orton in 1989. It was co-founded by Jim Henson, Peter Orton, and Sophie Turner Laing.

    1983–1989

    Founded in 1982, this logo was first used on The Muppet Show in 1983. The name would be stylized as "hit!".

    1989–1995

    In 1989, Jim Henson Productions spun off Henson International Television and changed its name to HIT Communications PLC.

    1994?–1995

    This logo seems to be a prototype of the next logo but has only been used for a year. It was only known to be released on international prints of Season 1 Reboot as HIT was the distributor.

    2001–2007, 2008–2014, 2017–2018, 2019

    This logo debuted with HIT Consumer Products, which was a short-lived logo. In late 2001 not long after the acquisition of Lyrick Studios, the "PLC" was dropped from the logo and the company was renamed "HIT Entertainment". This logo made a surprise appearance on Barney's Playground Fun, which was released in 2017.
