Yes, the Guardian Rank requirements seem to just check against the corresponding raid completion triumphs. Both the Normal and Master RoN completion triumphs required only final boss and had no checkboxes for the individual encounters. Normal and Master Crota's End completion triumphs, on the other hand, do have checkboxes for all 4 encounters.
With all of your DR combined, you should get: 15% DR from AoE attacks (I'm not sure if crotas slam counts as AoE. It looks like it should, but it might not... anyways, this is still useful for wizards, cursed thralls & boomer knights). 15% DR from melee attacks (from Crota melee & the hive thralls).
