The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOC) has a search tool on its website where the public can search for an inmate using their CDCR # (inmate ID) or their name. The results will show a list of anyone who matches the criteria.
The display shows name, CDCR number, age, admission date, and current location. Once you select the inmate you want information on, you will come to this page. From here, you can view the date they are eligible for parole, or you can select Family & Friends and find out how to write, text, mail, receive calls, send commissary money, etc.
