  3. Apr 24, 2012 · As for the side to side motion, you can move the MGW side to side slightly while in gear, but it is much stiffer, and much less range of motion than the stock or Pro 5.0. I actually don't notice it anymore, so it has accomplished what I wanted it to.

I have used all three shifters, MGW-P has by far the least amount of time on it (just installed this morning). Cons: Longer throws, kept missing 4th (90% sure it was due to a bad clutch!)

  6. Nov 11, 2008 · When you remove the old shifter and put it up to the MGW, you really see the difference in a big way. The MGW shifter is completely re engineered and does not share ANY design similarities with the stock unit as many of the other shifters on the market do.

What you’re looking at is very much an evolution of MGWs Gen 2 Shifter for the TR-6060 found in the S-197 GT500 Mustangs. It features the same rigid linkage shaft and large bronze support bearing as the 6060 shifter.
