Aug 23, 2019 · In order to load external subtitles in Netflix UWP, you need to install another UWP app from the Microsoft Store called Subtitles for Netflix. This app can find and download subtitles, and when loaded from inside its save location, the subtitles play fine in Netflix UWP.
Steps are: Login to netflix. Open developer tools (CTRL + Shift + I) Make sure you are on network tab. Start the video. Paus the video. Press clear and input ?o= as filter. Chose a subtitle (need to be one you have not loaded when the video started, if you want to download that one, you have to disable it and reload the video).
