My big complaint is that FALLING FOR VERMONT is selling autumn feels and autumn leaves and doesn't deliver. There are a few stock drone shots of Vermont in the fall, but most of the action was obviously filmed during the summer.
The humour was great, and while you could say that there is no or at least hardly any chemistry between the two main cast members, they are pleasure to watch and can be quite funny. Overall, it's a good movie and if you love romance movies, you might like this one.
May 22, 2024 · "Falling for Vermont" is a pretty average Hallmark movie with a predictable yet enjoyable storyline. It's also a complete rip off of A Christmas to Remember (which is one of my favorites). Julie Gonzalo plays Angela, a bestselling novelist who wants to take a break from work to enjoy the fall season.
