May 22, 2024 · "Falling for Vermont" is a pretty average Hallmark movie with a predictable yet enjoyable storyline. It's also a complete rip off of A Christmas to Remember (which is one of my favorites). Julie Gonzalo plays Angela, a bestselling novelist who wants to take a break from work to enjoy the fall season.
Falling for Vermont was a sweet Saturday night treat. Both lead actors are attractive, serious, and very appealing. The children are excellent, particularly the little daughter, who is both beautiful and very gifted, expressive, and convincing in her role. However, the plot had some rather obvious 'holes' in it.
