A British-Chinese-American co-production, starring Jackie Chan, Pierce Brosnan, Michael McElhatton, Liu Tao, Charlie Murphy, Orla Brady, and Katie Leung.
The Foreigner might be the only movie I've seen where you could remove the main character and the overall plot would play out almost exactly the same. (Spoilers) Jackie Chan's character spent nearly the entire movie harassing Pierce Brosnan for information that he truly didn't have and was actively seeking anyway.

What's interesting about this film is that there is an extended fight scene that wasn't in the international / us release of the film. Jackie Chan is in the middle of the forest and the IRA sends a guy to get him.
