We’ve made some updates to BT Email recently that'll continue to deliver a secure and reliable service with improved performance and usability. These changes allow us to stay up-to-date and support the latest software.
You will however still need your BTID to create new email addresses · The ‘Switch Account’ link will still be available but if you want to access any additional email addresses you have, you’ll need to log in to each one individually, using the relevant email address and password.

It said existing email customers are unaffected for now but is this a prelude to BT eventually ceasing email services altogether?
