- Drolta Tzuentes and Erzsebet Bathory. The inclusion of these two characters is perhaps the most baffling thing about this latest season of the Netflix adaptation.
- Juste Belmont. Juste Belmont is the hero of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, which was released in 2002 on the Game Boy Advance. The plot is set approximately in the mid-1700s, with Juste setting out to face Dracula like so many before him.
- Olrox. Olrox is one of the three main vampire villains in the anime. Castlevania: Nocturne begins with Richter’s mom, Julia, fighting Olrox while making time for the young Richter to escape.
- Alucard. Alucard was one of those characters that fans were eagerly anticipating to see in Castlevania: Nocturne. Unfortunately, he didn’t arrive until the last few minutes of the finale, but this, thankfully, also means he should play a bigger role in season two.

- Edward Bluemel - Richter Belmont. No Castlevania story is complete without a member of the Belmont family, and Nocturne's comes in the form of Richter Belmont (played by Edward Bluemel).
- Pixie Davies - Maria. Pixie Davies voices Maria Renard, the magic-wielding cousin of Richter. Maria is the idealist among Nocturne's central trio and possesses the ability to perform powerful spells and conjure animal spirits.
- Thuso Mbedu - Annette. Thuso Mbedu's Annette is a fierce warrior who also is a descendant of the gods. She has the magic ability to conjure blades from dust and has lived alongside Edouard since fleeing to the city after her mother was killed for potentially practicing witchcraft.
- Sydney James Harcourt - Edouard. Edouard (played by Sydney James Harcourt) is a former opera singer who leaves his life behind after coming into the company of Annette.
